SuperBlend SP

SuperBlend SP is an ingredient used in conjunction with SuperGels to improve the high temperature stability of oily gels. SuperBlend SP does not affect the clarity of your oily gel, it just provides additional structure to make it more robust and less prone to oil leaching out at temperatures above 50˚C. Made from a blend of two sucrose esters, Superblend SP is safe, mild and suitable for natural formulations.

INCI Nomenclature: Sucrose Stearate, Sucrose Palmitate

Origin: 100% Vegetable Origin, preservative free

Certification: Ecocert natural, COSMOS natural

How to use: Add the Superblend SP into the SuperGels and heat to 75˚C while stirring continuously until it has dissolved.

Suggested Use Levels: 0.5-2.0%

Formulating Tips: Once the Superblend SP has dissolved, make the oily gel in the normal way, adding the oil phase slowly into the SuperGel/Superblend SP mix. The oil phase doesn’t need to be at the same temperature as the SuperGel/Superblend SP mix. Products made with SuperBlend SP must remain between pH 4-8.

Storage: Protected from direct light and humidity at a temperature of 50°-77°F (10°-25°C)

Shelf life: 12 months, properly stored, in sealed container.

This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.

ty fss couldnt find a supplier for this but googled the inci name, one supplier in the us but very expensive.
