Chaparral is
native to the Southwestern United States, and is an herb derived from the
common desert shrubs Larrea tridentata
and Larrea divaricate (Also referred to as Greasewood and Creosote bush)
FSS Chaparral Extract G
contains Glycerin and is water soluble. It is known to have anti-septic and
antioxidant properties which are useful for oily and/or problem skin. Formulators
tend to use Chaparral Extract in lotions, cleansers, astringents and toners.
