Milk thistle or lady’s thistle is a thorny plant since it has white veins, it is called milk thistle. Stem, fruit, and seeds are of medicinal value. It is native to Europe, Asia, and Northern Africa. The active ingredient in milk thistle extract is flavonolignans which is antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Any kind of oxidative stress or stress caused by environmental free radicals may create an imbalance in skin’s structure and functions. You’ll commonly find Milk Thistle in anti-aging creams, lotions and also in skincare as well haircare formulations.

Formulating Guidelines: Add to the aqueous or cooling phase of your formulation.
Note: Mix well prior to use; Product may change appearance if exposed to cold temperatures during shipment or storage. If this happens, please gently warm to 45-50°C and mix until normal appearance is restored. Lot to lot variation may exist beyond our control due to seasonal weather and resulting crop variations in our supply of the natural plant materials.
