Ellagic acid is one type of antioxidant present in strawberries that helps to prevent collagen destruction. As we age, the collagen in our skin begins to degrade leading to fine lines and wrinkles. Other daily factors such as pollution exposure, UV damage, and harsh weather can also encourage premature wrinkles and dull skin. Ellagic acid and other antioxidants combat aging, problem skin, and inflammation to keep skin and hair rejuvenated and luminescent.
Strawberries are known to contain organic acids that contribute to detoxification in and on the body. By removing excess skin cells, dirt, and impurities, the skin can breathe properly. For skin care, this encourages new cell growth and removing excess sebum to keep skin fresh and reduce the occurrence of problem breakouts. Formulating Guidelines: Add to the aqueous or cooling phase of your formulation.
Note: Mix well prior to use; Product may change appearance if exposed to cold temperatures during shipment or storage. If this happens, please gently warm to 45-50°C and mix until normal appearance is restored. Lot to lot variation may exist beyond our control due to seasonal weather and resulting crop variations in our supply of the natural plant materials.
Storage: Protected from direct light and humidity at a temperature of 50°-77°F (10°-25°C)
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture, properly stored, in sealed container.
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
