We’re Proud to distribute Natural Plant Products, Meadowfoam CP, cold-pressed (CP) virgin oil derived from the commercial meadowfoam (Limnanthes Alba) fields in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. This processing method leaves more active materials such as tocopherols, phytosterols, and carotenoids in the oil. Meadowfoam CP is deep red-orange in hue and retains the typical earthy odor of meadowfoam seed. In addition to the superior stability and emolliency capabilities of Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Meadowfoam CP is also enriched with delicate natural active materials. The increased levels of tocopherols and phytosterols make Meadowfoam CP an ideal component for skin and sun care products, applications that demand the utmost from a natural emollient. MCP is mechanically extracted and refined according to Ecocert and COSMOS approved standard for cosmetic ingredient.

Formulating Guidelines: Add to the oil phase of your formulation.
Storage: Sealed containers should be stored at a temperature of 10°–25° C (50°–77° F). Containers can be resealed and stored in the same temperature range for up to 12 months. If opened material will be stored for greater than 12 months, use of nitrogen is encouraged.
Expiration Date: Natural Plant Products will guarantee the quality of finished product for 3 years from the date of manufacture, if the seal is unbroken and the material has been stored according to manufacturer’s suggestions.
