FSS Lauryl Glucoside

FSS Lauryl Glucoside is a mild, nonionic surfactant that can function as either a primary or secondary cleansing agent. It helps minimize skin irritation, enhances foam richness and texture, and effectively removes impurities. It works well in combination with other surfactants, including nonionic, anionic, and cationic types.

Thanks to its naturally high viscosity, lauryl glucoside offers greater formulation stability and is often used as an alternative to decyl glucoside or coco glucoside.

Because it's derived from renewable, plant-based sources, lauryl glucoside is regarded as a sustainable and environmentally friendly ingredient. It’s commonly included in products like facial cleansers, body washes, shampoos, hand soaps, and green household cleaning items. Its main role is to loosen and lift dirt and oil from the skin, making it easier to rinse them away. By reducing surface tension between water and oils, it allows for a more thorough cleansing experience.
