Typographical Errors
In the event that a Formulator Sample Shop® product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Formulator Sample Shop® reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Formulator Sample Shop® reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Formulator Sample Shop® shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Payment Methods
Orders must be paid within 5 business days of the order being placed. If placing an order during a sale, orders must be paid in full by end of the sale. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. PayPal payments are accepted but will have a 6% fee added. We accept ACH and Wire Transfer (40.00USD fee for Wire Transfers) payments which must be received within 5 business days. If payment is not received within 5 business days the order will be canceled. Your orders processing time begins once payment received.

Ordering

All orders must be prepaid by credit card or PayPal (Orders paid via PayPal e-checks will be held until PayPal advises your funds have been received. We reserve the right to cancel orders shipped to unverified PayPal accounts or those shipped to a third party. On Credit Card transactions, if the Bill To and Ship To are not the same, at our discretion, we will request a Credit Card Authorization Form be submitted to us, along with a copy of the Bill To party's Credit Card and Driver’s License for orders to be shipped to a third party.
Order Turnaround
Please note our lead time for processing orders is 5-10 business days, not including weekends or holidays. Should your order be delayed beyond our stated lead time, our Customer Service Team will notify you immediately. Please note the shipping carriers Expediting Shipping Options are separate from our lead time. If you would like to “jump” your order ahead, please submit your order and e-mail us for options. Due to our processing time of the orders, once orders are paid and processing they cannot be modified or canceled.
Order Cancellations
Order cancellations are allowed within 12 hours of placement, or until the order has been fulfilled, in order of whichever occurs first. Anything after these exceptions prior to shipment will be allowed to cancel but will receive store credit only. No cancellations will be accepted after shipment.
Store Credit
Store credits are valid for 1 year from the date of issue. Any remainder of the store credit will not be redeemable after 1 year.
Returns
Raw material products may not be returned. Defective or damaged merchandise will be replaced by Formulator Sample Shop®. In the event we make an error, we will gladly authorize the return of incorrect or defective merchandise and pay for the return shipping costs on domestic orders. Should we omit an item on domestic orders, we will ship it to you on notification of the shortage provided you contact us within 3 days of delivery. You agree to carefully inspect all ingredients and products upon arrival and report any problems or need for replacement within 3 days of receiving the goods.
Damage Claims
Please inspect all packages at time of delivery and if damaged, please refuse the delivery, contact us ASAP so we may process your claim. If you notice any damaged items upon unpacking your order, leave the box and contents as is, save all of the packing material and contact us so we may arrange an inspection of the package and issue a claim. If the package was lost or damaged and shipped on our shipping account, We will handle the claim/loss information and re-ship the order to you once the claim has been paid. All packages must be reported within 5 days of delivery if missing an item or damage, no exceptions. No Refunds will be provided. We will either issue a credit to your account or replace the order, if the claim is paid. We recommend that you first inform the carrier so we may file a claim as soon as possible. If the package was lost or damaged and shipped on your shipping account, You are required to handle the claim with your shipper and place another order on our website. All packages must be reported within 5 days of delivery if missing an item or damage, no exceptions.
Certificates of Analysis
If you require a Certificate of Analysis for one of our cosmetic raw materials, please request it when you place your order and it will be emailed to you. You may also request from us, please provide us with the lot # you received at info@FormulatorSampleShop.com
Special Promotions
From time to time, we run special promotions on select products for limited periods of time. This could be based on various reasons including bulk discounts that we negotiated with our vendors or clearance discounts on discontinued items.
User Agreement
Customers should purchase products from Formulator Sample Shop® with the clear understanding that all products must be used at the customers own discretion and only after referencing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all other relevant technical information specific to the product. Formulator Sample Shop® shall not be held responsible for any damages to property or for any adverse physical effects (including injury or bodily harm) caused by insufficient knowledge or the improper use of a product.
The contents of our website have not been evaluated by the FDA. Information contained herein is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.The user of the product is solely responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations applying to the use of the products, including intellectual property rights of third parties.As with any manufacturing process, Formulator Sample Shop® strongly recommends small lab scale testing for evaluation purposes prior to full commercial manufacturing.
