Bakuchiol is a phenolic compound separated from the seeds of the Psoraleae family. The structure of bakuchiol is similar to resveratrol and the effect is similar to retinol (Vitamin A), but in light stability, it is better than retinol.

Suggested Use Levels: 0.5-1.0%
Suggested Applications: Variety of skincare products targeting aging, pigmentation or inflammation. Creams, lotions, oils, serums.
pH: Preferably, finished product must have pH below 6 and must be protected from prolong exposure to heat and light for maintaining product integrity over time.
Formulating Guidelines: Add into formulation after emulsion with a processing temperature of about 50C. Can also be added into the oil phase of formulation.
Storage: Store the container tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Store apart from foodstuff containers or incompatible materials.
