Nourish your hair starting at the roots with FSS AlfalfaBoost, an ingredient extracted from Medicago sativa which has long been prized for its superior content of proteins, vitamins, and minerals.
Keratin, the main building block of hair, is comprised of about 95% sulfur. Based on this information, the manufacturer of this material took an interest in alfalfa. Known to naturally contain high concentrations of sulfur, the process has been enhanced by sustainably culturing alfalfa in sulfur-supplemented media, providing an extra boost of sulfur-rich peptides. Utilizing peptide technology to increase the bioavailability and uptake of nutrients, they created FSS AlfalfaBoost to deliver consumers an all-natural ingredient to enhance hair and eyelash length and density, reduce scalp inflammation, and provide antioxidant protection.

Suggested Use Levels: 1-10%
Suggested Applications: Scalp care, eyelash serums, conditioners, leave-on hair products.
Formulating Guidelines: AlfalfaBoost can be incorporated into the aqueous phase. Stable up to 50°C.
Storage: Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 32°C. Based on stability studies, the optimum storage temperature for maximization of shelf life is 23 - 25°C. However, it may be stored at temperatures between 16 and 32°C if such specific temperature control is not available. Do not freeze.
Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacture
