Moisture depletion in skin can be remedied from bamboo-enriched water by moving water from high
concentrations to low concentrations for decreased cell damage. Active Concepts performed a 30-day efficacy study of bamboo extracts on skin, moisture levels were improved by 10% compared to aloe vera and 30% better than the untreated control. The noted percent improvement of FSS Bio-Water Bamboo compared to deionized water was similar to the untreated control.
