Coltsfoot is rich in various minerals like zinc, copper, calcium, potassium, manganese, sulfur, vitamins A, B, C and P and iron. The plant leaf is shaped like a colt's hoof, hence the name. Stout leaves with bright yellow flowers characterize. Coltsfoot is known to provide conditioning and moisturizing benefits as well as act as an antioxidant, reducing oxidative stress on the skin.
