For good reason, cucumbers are found in face packs, facials, juice cleanses, and nearly any product that reflects skin health. Backed by the vision of quickly reducing wrinkles, puffy eyes, freckle fading, evening out complexions, sunburn treatment and skin tightening, cucumber is a no brainer.
Even though the cucumber is almost 95% water, it is known to still be a valuable source of vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium, also providing dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin B6, thiamin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, and manganese.
Cucumbers are also widely used in anti-aging formulations due to their ability to inhibit the breakdown of elastin. This results in skin tightening and cell renewal support to reduce the signs of aging. Cucumbers are also useful in hair care products to improve the hair’s texture and strengthen hair follicles to reduce hair from falling out. Cucumber water specifically retains an infusion of the active ingredients of cucumber into the water, boosting the overall nutrients available. The high water content helps create detox properties that assist in removing unwanted pollution in hair and skin care products to provide a clean and refreshing experience.

Suggested Use Levels: 1-10%
Suggested Applications: Face mist, lotion, shampoo, toner.
Formulating Guidelines: Add to the water phase of formulation.
Storage: Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 32°C. Based on stability studies, the optimum storage temperature for maximization of shelf life is 23 - 25°C. However, it may be stored at temperatures between 16 and 32°C if such specific temperature control is not available. Do not freeze.
Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacture
