FSS DERMAPEPTIDE LIFTING® PF is an innovative active ingredient that contains firming protein polymers with a pioneering technology. FSS DERMAPEPTIDE LIFTING® PF is a high molecular weight (greater than 500,000 da) biopolymer made from sweet almond proteins. These large proteins are perfect for adhering to the skin and forming a stable, pliant, and lifting film.
It is known that the ancient romans regularly used almonds in skin care products, as well as the rest of ancient europe. Sweet almonds, also known as prunus amygdalus dulcis, come from the prunus amygdalus tree and are considered an excellent emollient, as they help the skin to balance its moisture levels while softening and soothing. Sweet almond products are typically odorless and may act as an anti-inflammatory. Sweet almond peptides have a fine texture that leaves the skin feeling satiny and smooth, and should not clog the pores.
Because FSS DERMAPEPTIDE LIFTING® PF is of plant origin and the developmental process utilizes a combination of enzymatic hydrolysis and cross-linking, this may reduce the risk of allergic reactions. Also, this natural polymer is water-soluble and does not leave a synthetic, sticky film. FSS DERMAPEPTIDE LIFTING® PF was found to be stable in a ph range between 5-10 and from temperatures ranging between 40-80°c.
