FSS Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI)
This mild anionic surfactant creates a creamy foam that offers excellent lather and gentle cleansing. It is free from sulfates, phthalates, PEG, or parabens, and does not contain any animal derivatives.
This is a great option for creating bar formulations such as shampoo bars.

Solubility: This depends on the solution you are attempting to solubilize the Ritafactant SCI in. It requires a lot of time and heat to dissolve, typically around or above 80C.
pH Stability: A 10% solution will have a pH between 5.0-6.5.
Suggested Use Levels: 0.5-60% is recommended, where the upper end of the recommendation is only for solid products.
Suggested Applications: Hand soaps, bar soaps, shampoos, foam cleansers.
Formulating Guidelines: Melt prior to use.
Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions in well-sealed receptacles.
