Thymus Vulharis (Thyme) is a low growing herbaceous plant, sometimes becoming woody. It is native to southern Europe, where it is often cultivated as an herb. Thyme Extract has been known to provide strong anti-bacterial and cleansing properties. It also has astringent and inflammation properties. Many formulators use this extract in astringents, lotions, creams, serums and shampoo applications.
