The silica vectors help to deliver the protein components to the lips by allowing the delivery vesicle to penetrate the lips and deliver the actives. When the delivery system makes contact with the moisture from the lips, it is able to hydrate and swell, therefore mimicking the biological ordering of the extracellular matrix. This unique application allows the incorporated actives, like Sodium Hyaluronate, GABA, Marine Protein, and Vitamins A, C and E, to be deposited into the lips, to impart anti-aging, antioxidant, and moisturizing benefits while creating a plumping effect.
FSS Vita-Marine Avocado Lips uses a technology which takes advantage of the anionic, or negatively charged, properties of the lips. This attracts the cations, or positively charged particles, in the surrounding excess water, causing an osmotic reaction and therefore a swelling of the delivery system, resulting in the appearance of younger, more supple lips! The neurotransmitter GABA is known to relax muscle tissue and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while Sodium Hyaluronate moisturizes and plumps the lips. To maximize plumping effects, we have incorporated Marine Proteins which attract water, causing further plumping which results in the filling of the wrinkles on the lips.
