The Ylang Ylang tree is native to Asia but was introduced to Malaysia, Indonesia, Pacific Islands and is now also cultivated in Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean. This fast growing tropical tree can grow 40-60 feet and has smooth, glossy leaves with beautiful, very fragrant, greenish-yellow blooms.
Ylang Ylang has history of being used in skin and hair care. It is commonly used in formulations that target people who has combination skin. It balances sebum oil production and tones the skin.
