Cranberries are mainly produced in the United States and Canada. They grow low to the ground and are often found in wet, marshy areas called bogs. When they become ripe, clusters of the berries can be picked off of the vine and used in many food and personal care formulations. Cranberry extracts are unique sources of potent antioxidants including vitamin C. This property allows formulators to capitalize on its strong protective and rejuvenating capabilities what makes them perfectly suitable for incorporation in a wide range of cosmetic applications designed to help achieve young and revitalized looking skin.
Cranberries are also rich in numerous vitamins, especially from the B group, as well as minerals including iron, magnesium, copper and zinc. All of these nutrients play essential roles in cellular metabolism. For this reason, by priming the skin and hair with these distinct nutrients we can help promote optimal cellular functions for enhanced protein synthesis and proper hydration.

This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
