Palmaria palmata is also commonly known as Dulse. This is a type of seaweed is red in color, and grows in the Atlantic ocean off the coast of Canada, and in the oceans of Western Europe, as well as the West coast of Africa. Dulse is very interesting in skincare formulations since it contains numerous minerals and nutrients. Dulse contains high levels of folate (vitamin b), magnesium, calcium, iron, and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). It also has a small amount of amino acids, which are valuable to the skin. These nutrients help stimulate the skin, promote healthy cell growth, and improve skin texture and appearance.

Appearance: Yellow to Light Amber Oily Liquid
Suggested Use Levels: 1.0% – 10.0%
Solubility: Oil Soluble
Suggested Applications: Nourishing, Conditioning, Moisturization, Anti-Aging, Rejuvenating
Formulating Guidelines: Add to the oil phase of your formulation.
Note: Mix well prior to use; Product may change appearance if exposed to cold temperatures during shipment or storage. If this happens, please gently warm to 45-50°C and mix until normal appearance is restored. Lot to lot variation may exist beyond our control due to seasonal weather and resulting crop variations in our supply of the natural plant materials.
Storage: Protected from direct light and humidity at a temperature of 50°-77°F (10°-25°C)
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.

Did not know about thisThank you for your newsletter, This is how I heard about this one, I never heard of Dulse, but after reading here and elsewhere, This seems to be the "IT" ingredient, but I guess now everyone wll know.
