Background:
Junipers vary in size and shape from tall trees (20–40 m tall) to columnar or low spreading shrubs. They have needle-like and/or scale-like evergreen leaves. The female seed cones are very distinctive, looking like berries (4–27 mm long); they are mature generally after two years and have a blue/purple color in most species, but can be red-brown or orange in some species Juniper is an evergreen shrub that belongs to the pine family and is native to the mountains in North America, Europe and Southwest Asia.
Juniper Berry is known to help balance the sebum production in the skin by reduces excess oil production, It is commonly found in products for problem skin and also considered as a mild astringent. Juniper Berry is known to provide skin-soothing properties for skin, although no studies are available to support this statement.
Rice Solution (RS) is used as a glycerin alternative due to its moisturizing benefits and viscosity

Formulating Guidelines: Add to the aqueous or cooling phase of your formulation.
**Note: Product may change appearance if exposed to cold temperatures during shipment or storage. If this happens, please gently warm to 45-50°C and mix until normal appearance is restored. Lot to lot variation may exist beyond our control due to seasonal weather and resulting crop variations in our supply of the natural plant materials.
Storage: Protected from direct light and humidity at a temperature of 50°-77°F (10°-25°C)
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture, properly stored, in sealed container.
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
