These small berries have been gathered and enjoyed for thousands of years and remain one of the world’s most consumed berries. Raspberries are believed to have originated in Eastern Asia, but today they are grown throughout the world and gathered between June and October. The seeds are believed to have been carried by travelers and animals assisting in the plant’s dispersion around the world. Different varieties of the berries come in a range of colors such as purple, pink, red, black, orange and yellow.
Raspberries are a staple in modern society not only for their delicious taste, but also for the diversity of health benefits they provide. Vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber are just a few essentials that are packed into these small berries. Due to the high concentration of Vitamin C present, raspberries are believed to reduce wrinkles. These antioxidant properties reduce discoloration and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to create and restore a youthful skin appearance.
Phytonutrients in raspberries provide anti-inflammatory benefits to calm the skin and reduce early signs of aging. Formulating Guidelines: Add to the aqueous or cooling phase of your formulation.
**Note: Product may change appearance if exposed to cold temperatures during shipment or storage. If this happens, please gently warm to 45-50°C and mix until normal appearance is restored. Lot to lot variation may exist beyond our control due to seasonal weather and resulting crop variations in our supply of the natural plant materials.
Storage: Protected from direct light and humidity at a temperature of 50°-77°F (10°-25°C)
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture, properly stored, in sealed container.
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
