Organic Rose Hip Oil

Roses were among the first plants, if not the first, that were grown for beauty’s sake alone. The practice began in Asia and spread to the Middle East before becoming a gardening trend in European nations. With such emphasis on the aesthetic beauty of this flower, it is no surprise that there was spiked curiosity in medicinal and cosmetic properties associated with the botanical.

The rose bush is still to this day displayed as a way to aesthetically enhance gardens, rooms, porches, etc. More impressively, the rose bush tends to bloom in the middle of winter. This quality can be attributed to rose’s distinct ability to absorb moisture in the most brutal, restrictive environmental conditions. Unlike a rose blossom, the skin becomes stressed when subjected to harsh environmental conditions resulting in moisture depletion and an aged complexion. Rose hip, or the accessory fruit of the rose plant, is known to be intensely hydrating with a high absorbing level, helping penetrate the skin almost immediately. Furthermore, rose hip is believed to topically reduce the pace of aging due to natural antioxidant properties.

Rose hip contains nutrients that are known to promote protein synthesis and cell regeneration. By increasing the skin’s capacity to produce new tissue and rejuvenate matrix stability, younger-looking skin is achieved. Rose hip is commonly utilized to stimulate metabolic changes in the skin and therefore, accelerate normal cell growth. The result of this cell rejuvenating mechanism is a smoother, more radiant complexion and the decreased appearance fine lines and wrinkles. Organic Rose Hip Oil may be used to capitalize on the benefits associated with rose hip in a variety of personal care applications.

What is PhytoGenetix®?

The organic personal care and cosmetic market have a unique set of challenges in production and manufacturing of goods, while the consumers are concerned about sustainability and traceability of ingredients. The current advances in biotechnology lead to developments in genomic libraries of botanical species. However, the evaluation of raw material authenticity is absent. PhytoGenetix® provides the solution based on DNA tracing analysis of plants by referencing the global genomic database. PhytoGenetix® successfully verifies the true identity of the plant material used in organic extracts. “Verification of True Plant Identity”
