Abyssinian oil, also known as Crambe oil, is produced through the pressing of Crambe seeds. Due to its molecular makeup and high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids, Abyssinian oil is highly resistant to oxidation. Abyssinian Oil is a unique, natural dual-purpose oil, with excellent nourishing and moisturizing benefits. It has a non-greasy feel, velvety finish and is easily absorbed into the skin. It is commonly used in formulations hair care, cosmetic applications and personal care products. Abyssinian Oil has also been known to assist with pigment dispersion and the ability to wet pigments in color cosmetic formulations.
