Threonine is known to assist in creating glycine and serine in the skin, which are two amino acids that are necessary for the production of collagen, elastin, and other tissues. Isoleucine is known to offer skin repair benefits to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as create more supple skin. Histidine is commonly used in skin and hair care for growth and repair benefits. Phenylalanine is known to help reduce pigmentation and balance the skin tone.
