This is silicone soluble and contains zinc, copper, manganese, iron, silicon and potassium. Copper is a cofactor for oxidative enzymes, improves the absorption and utilization of iron, and is involved in elastin formation and the cross linking of keratin. It also aids in enzymatic activities. While zinc has antioxidant properties, it is also involved in wound healing, protein synthesis, and cellular growth, division and repair. Iron is involved in protein formation, cell maturation and immune system functions. Silicon aides in protein matrix construction, addsto the structure of connective tissue and is also involved in bone development. Potassium is involved in the sodium potassium ion gates that stimulate an action potential along cellular membranes. Action potentials are essential for carrying information within and between tissues in our bodies. Manganese may help to increase firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Overview of Bio-Chelates:

Both vitamins and minerals are well known to be good for the body when ingested because they play a key role in overall health and well-being. Vitamins are well known for their co-enzymatic properties. By chelating naturally derived vitamins, they become more easily penetrated and available to the skin allowing them to work to benefit in overall appearance.
