Rich in lactose and low in fat, as opposed to cattle and sheep milk it passes on its organoleptic characteristics and effectiveness to the products containing donkey milk. Albumins that have the ability to absorb moisture and give it back to the skin, creating a moisturizing shield on the upper layers of the skin and visible improvement of the hydration of the skin. Proteins with structural materials, the amino acids involved in the synthesis of Normal Moisturizing Factor (NMF) of the skin nourish and tone the skin. They offer more than 40% of the necessary amino acids for skin that is very important for the maintenance of normal metabolic activity of cells, and involved in the synthesis of proteins of the extracellular matrix ie collagen, elastin and keratin. Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D & E and particularly high rates of vitamin C.

PRODUCTION PROCEDURE: The objective is to produce donkey milk powder, and at the same time keep its skin protection characteristics. The procedure applied is a combination of advanced membrane technology processes for sanitizing and concentrating the raw donkey milk with a final step of cryogenic freeze drying. The donkey milk powder gives an opportunity to cosmetics manufacturers to include it in skin care products. All the unique characteristics are preserved, so an excellent final product can become available to the consumer.
