FSS EMULSIFYING WAX C20

FSS Emulsifying Wax C20 is a complete emulsifying system. Typically, the use of additional stabilizing or gelling agents are not required when using FSS Emulsifying Wax C20. This will allow chemists to develop more cost-effective formulations with streamlined processing. The product is a unique blend of cetearyl alcohol and ceteareth-20. FSS Emulsifying Wax C20 is stable over a pH range of 3 to 12 allowing for its use in a diverse array of formulations that require specialized ingredients. It may be used as the primary or secondary emulsifier at around 10% and 1 to 2.5% respectively. FSS Emulsifying C20 is dispersible in hot water. If required, FSS Emulsifying Wax C20 is compatible with most gums and polymers that are typically used to adjust the texture and rheology of the formula.

Formulating Guidelines:
Must be heated together with your oil phase components to approximately 70°C–75°C until completely liquid before combining with the heated water phase

Shelf Life:
12 months from date of manufacture.
Storage:
Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 32°C. Based on stability studies, the optimum storage temperature for maximization of shelf life is 23 - 25°C. However, it may be stored at temperatures between 16 and 32°C if such specific temperature control is not available. Do not freeze.
