Fig extract, derived from the fruit of the fig tree, is relatively new in skin care. Figs, and other fruits, such as pomegranates and olives, have been used in Skin and Care Formulations since figs contain high Vitamin A and vitamin C properties making it beneficial in reducing superficial surface skin cells which makes the skin refreshed and renewed.
