Description

FSS FIRE TULIP EXTRACT G

The red and yellow hues of the fire tulip is enough to captures one’s attention on a spring day. This flower, native to Africa, goes by many names: the African tulip tree, fountain tree, and pichkari or Nanfi flame. This tree is both horticulturally and botanically distinct, as it is the only species in its genus. Known globally as one of the most beautiful of all the flowering trees, the fire tulip has much to offer to the cosmetic world.

The fire tulip has historically been used for antioxidant properties in countless treatments due to its numerous phenols, polyphenols, flavonoids, and caffeic acid. The fire tulip has been used as an anti-inflammatory and diuretic in folk medicine. The flower has been known to relieve urethra inflammation, kidney disease, and even act as an antidote to animal poison, where the bark has been shown to effectively treat skin disease.

Anti-inflammatories in cosmetics are useful in reducing redness and swelling in both skin-care and hair-care. When reducing inflammation on the scalp, hair loss and dandruff are effectively reduced. When reducing inflammation of the skin, circulation is increased for a healthier complexion. FSS Fire Tulip Extract G can be used to capitalize on fire tulips in a variety of skin-care and hair-care applications.
