FSS Foaming Rice PF DRK is intended for use in mild cleansing products. Due to the protein/acid moieties associated with the structure, FSS Foaming Rice PF DRK can be added to mild detergent products such as body gels, shampoos, body washes and facial cleansers. Sodium Cocoyl is added for increased foaming properties.

Protein extracted from rice and other plant sources has quickly become a popular replacement for animal derived proteins that were once the only protein sources available to cosmetic chemists. Aside from the benefits of a more economic renewable resource, the use of rice protein allows formulators to avoid the stigma associated with the use of animal-based products.

This material is anionic in character and great for formulations such as shampoos, body washes and facial cleansers.
