Medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid provides an optimal balance between surface hydration and dermal penetration. With an average molecular size that allows partial diffusion into the upper epidermal layers while maintaining film-forming properties, it enhances water retention, supports skin barrier function, and improves hydration. This grade of hyaluronic acid exhibits a slight gelling effect in aqueous systems, contributing to formulation stability and desirable sensory characteristics. Its dual action makes it suitable for cosmetic applications where both immediate moisturization and long-term skin conditioning are desired.

Our Hyaluronic Acid MMW (Medium Molecular Weight) has a molecular weight of 200,000 – 600,000 Daltons.

Storage:
Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 32°C. Based on stability studies, the optimum storage temperature for maximization of shelf life is 23 - 25°C. However, it may be stored at temperatures between 16 and 32°C if such specific temperature control is not available. Do not freeze.
