PEG-free solubilizer for the effective solubilization of natural oils and lipophilic emollients.

FSS LipoSolve , a high performance solubilizer optimized for the incorporation of lipophilic components into water-based formulations, is based on polyglyceryl esters and made from 100% renewable raw materials. Due to its cold processability and ease of handling, FSS LipoSolve facilitates the preparation of mixtures with oils and water. The PEG-free product can be used in various aqueous formulations, e.g. cleaning solutions or detergent systems, without affecting their foaming properties, and is suitable for natural cosmetics according to recognized standards (e.g. Ecocert).

FSS LipoSolve (Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate; Polyglyceryl-3 Cocoate; Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate; Polyglyceryl-6 Ricinoleate) is effective for the solubilization of very lipophilic ingredients like fatty or natural oils (e.g. jojoba, avocado, argan and sunflower oil). Crystal clear cosmetic formulations are possible. The product is cold processable without the formation of gel phases. FSS LipoSolve furthermore shows mitigating attributes as well as effective moisturization and skin feel benefits.

FSS LipoSolve is a PEG-free solubilizer for natural oils and lipophilic emollients. It shows very good solubilizing properties for natural and fatty oils. Also, hydrophobic emollients like Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride or hydrophobic perfume oils, actives or preservatives can effectively be solubilized in water or water-based formulations.

This product is suitable for use in shampoos, body/hand/facial washes and gels, make-up remover, wet wipes, and emulsions.

Formulating Guidelines:
Effective for the solubilization of very lipophilic ingredients like fatty or natural oils (e.g. jojoba, avocado, argan and sunflower oil). Crystal clear cosmetic formulations are possible. The product is cold processable without the formation of gel phases. Tip: Mix the lipid oil with FSS LipoSolve and heat to approx. 50°C and add water or a surfactant mixture very slowly in the beginning while stirring. Processing at room temperature is possible without any issues. In combination with a second solubiliser, e.g. for essential oils, first dissolve the oils separately and then add them together to the formulation.
