Lupine seeds are legumes, and are therefore somewhat similar to peas, peanuts, soy, and beans. Lupines are highly prized, because like soy, they contain the full range of essential amino acids–which is unusual for plant protein. Lupine Amino Acids is a mixture of amino acids derived from the complete hydrolysis of Lupine Protein. Lupine Amino Acids is commonly found in Hair Conditioning Agents and Skin Conditioning applications.
