For centuries, rice water has been used as a DIY hair care regime because of its nutrient rich properties. FSS Rice Water SF has taken this a step further by the use of fermentation which enhances the benefits of intense hydration and humidity protection. Fermented rice water has been shown to contain starch, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, essential amino acids and organic acids. Rice Starch contains polysaccharides and the carbohydrate inositol, which have been shown to repair and protect damaged hair. Vitamin E, also known as tocopherol, is a potent antioxidant necessary for reducing oxidative stressors, such as harmful UV and pollution, by reducing and neutralizing free radicals that impart ageing effects on the hair. Vitamin B helps support healthy hair growth. Amino Acids help lock in moisture, encourage hair growth, promote fiber structure reconstruction and reduce breakage. Various organic acids are known for their ability to repair the surface of hair fibers. FSS Rice Water is a suitable addition to finished formulas intended to promote hair hydration.
