FSS SODIUM PCA

FSS Sodium PCA is a highly effective humectant widely used in cosmetic and personal care formulations to enhance skin hydration and comfort. As the sodium salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), it is a naturally occurring component of the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), making it exceptionally skin compatible. FSS Sodium PCA works by attracting and binding moisture from the environment, helping to maintain optimal hydration levels and improve skin softness, smoothness, and elasticity. It provides long-lasting moisturization without a sticky or heavy feel, making it suitable for lightweight, as well as rich formulations. This ingredient is gentle, non-irritating, and effective at low concentrations, which makes it ideal for a wide range of products including creams, lotions, serums, cleansers, toners, shampoos, and conditioners. Storage:
Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 32°C. Based on stability studies, the optimum storage temperature for maximization of shelf life is 23 - 25°C. However, it may be stored at temperatures between 16 and 32°C if such specific temperature control is not available. Do not freeze.
