My order never arrived.

If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. An item is missing from my shipment.

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", please contact customer service for assistance at 704-276-7540 or info@FormulatorSampleShop.com. We recommend that you notify the shipper immediately prior to contacting us so we can begin the claim process, if it was shipped on our account. If an item is missing from your package, underweight or any issues, WE MUST BE NOTIFIED within 72 hours of receiving the package. No Exceptions.

When will my backorder arrive?

Backordered items are those which our suppliers are unable to predict when they will have more in stock, but as soon as they do, we will be able to ship the item to you.

Cancellation Policy.

Order cancellations are allowed within 12 hours of placement, or until the order has been fulfilled, in order of whichever occurs first. Anything after these exceptions prior to shipment will be allowed to cancel but will receive store credit only. No cancellations will be accepted after shipment.

How do I create an account?

  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Select "I am a new customer".

Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here". That link will send an email to you with your password.

How long will my order take to reach me?

Depending on the Method you choose, Ground shipping takes 2 to 6 business days to deliver in the US, depending on your distance from our Location. This excludes the day of shipment, weekends and holidays. View the UPS Ground Transit Time Map to determine how long your order will take to reach you.

Do you ship internationally? How much does it cost to ship a package to me?

International customers are responsible for all customs, duties, taxes and brokerage fees that their package may incur. We do have the opportunity to ship US Postal Service for the lowest rates. At checkout, carts will automatically calculate the shipping option to your specific location.  For international orders, customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipment clears customs. Please check your country's import requirements and restrictions prior to placing your order. Any international shipments that are returned, cancelled or refused at customs will be subject to a 25% restocking fee and the cost of shipping. These orders will not be eligible for a refund or store credit.

What are my payment choices?

During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

How do you ship?

We prefer to ship using UPS Ground in the US. Your freight shipping is one low cost to ship UPS Ground (also includes insurance). For expedited services or international rates, please contact us.

What is the return policy?

Please see our Terms & Conditions for complete details regarding our return policy. Raw material products may not be returned because once shipped we can no longer guarantee the purity of the products for our customers. Defective or damaged merchandise will be replaced by Formulator Sample Shop. In the event we make an error, we will gladly authorize the return of incorrect or defective merchandise and pay for the return shipping costs on domestic orders. Should we omit an item on domestic orders, we will ship it to you on notification of the shortage provided you contact us within 3 days of delivery. You agree to carefully inspect all ingredients and products upon arrival and report any problems or need for replacement within 3 days of receiving the goods.

Yes, of course! You don’t need a business or License to purchase from us, We specialize in providing our ingredients to Formulators , DIY and Indie Brands!

To find the product(s) you're looking for, you may (1) use the navigation menus on the top, left & bottom of our website. (2) type a keyword into the SEARCH box. If you have any trouble locating a product, feel free to contact customer service for assistance.

How do I navigate the site?

To navigate this website, simply click on a category you might be interested in. Categories are located on the top, left & bottom of our website. QUICK TIP: Place your mouse cursor over anything you think could be a clickable link. You'll notice that anytime you scroll over something that is a link, your mouse cursor will become a "hand". Whereas scrolling over anything that is NOT a link will leave your cursor as an "arrow". You may also type a keyword into the SEARCH box to quickly find a specific product. Shelf Life

The shelf life of each product is determined by the manufacturer. Generally, the shelf life of our products is 12 months from the manufactured date, however it may vary. 

As a re-seller, we always strive to ship out the freshest material possible with a remaining minimum 6-month shelf life, however it is dependent upon the lots available.

We recommend that customers purchase the exact amount needed, or purchase in smaller containers to prevent headspace and potential for contamination.

May I obtain a Certificate of Analysis and additional documentation for the ingredients I order?

Yes, you may.  Please e-mail us at info@formulatorsampleshop.com to request the Certificate of Analysis (CofA) or additional documentation.  We are trying to become a paperless company, therefore, we will e-mail you the MSDS (MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET) for every product you order.  Your safety is our concern.
