FSS Ruby Extract PF

Often considered to be the color of love and the color of passion, red is also the unmistakable color of rubies. These rare gems are the most valuable and most sought after compared to other gems. With a hardness of 9.0 on the Mohs scale, second in hardness only to diamonds, rubies are actually the mineral corundum that was formed in the presence of chrome. When cut into cabochons rubies can show an optical phenomenon referred to as asterism, where the reflected light creates a star shape on the stone. Used in holistic medicine, rubies are thought to treat a variety of ailments.

FSS Ruby Extract may be added to aqueous systems and emulsions and may convey feelings of passion along with a noble sense of refinement.
